About
Practical software. A wider perspective.
My Empower is an independently owned software development studio. It creates bespoke solutions for clients and develops its own products, drawing on personal experience, systems thinking and a long-standing background in software.
A career that began in software
The founder began at Microsoft in the 1990s, building on a background in computer science and software. That technical foundation remains part of the studio's hands-on approach to developing apps and services.
Experience of systems in the real world
Decades of utilities experience across different countries brought a broader view of how people, processes and information work together. It is a perspective shaped by complex environments where one decision can affect many parts of a system.
Bringing the two together
My Empower brings those strands into a focused independent practice: understand the need, consider the connections and develop software with a clear purpose. Its work spans iOS, Android, macOS and web services.
Independent by design
The studio's own products provide space to explore specific needs and interests. Diveology and Bauernschnapsen are the first projects featured here, with more to follow as the work develops.
