Bauernschnapsen
A familiar game, brought to the browser.
Bauernschnapsen brings the Austrian games Schnapsen and Bauernschnapsen online, with play against the computer or with friends and family.
The problem space
Bringing a traditional game into software involves more than displaying cards. The experience needs to make sense to people who know the game while giving new players a way in.
A studio perspective
This independent product illustrates a different side of My Empower's work: applying software to a shared pastime with established conventions and a strong sense of place. It sits alongside Diveology as part of the studio's growing collection of products.
